Allen TX Senior Photographer - Adriatica Village

Every once in a while, you meet a senior who just gets it — someone who shows up relaxed, ready to have fun, and makes your job as a photographer feel effortless. That was this session. We headed to Adriatica Village in McKinney, and from the moment we started shooting, I knew this was going to be a great gallery.


Why Adriatica Village is a dream location

If you haven't been to Adriatica Village in McKinney, TX, put it on your list. With its cobblestone streets, European-inspired architecture, and warm stone textures, it offers the kind of variety that makes a senior session really shine. We moved through multiple backdrops — archways, open plazas, staircases — and every spot gave us something different. It's one of my favorite locations in the DFW area, and this session reminded me exactly why.


A senior who brought his whole personality

What made this session extra special was getting to incorporate his passion — the trumpet. There is something so authentic about bringing an instrument you've dedicated years to into your senior portraits. It tells a story. It says: this is who I am. The photos with his trumpet are some of my absolute favorites from the session, and I know they'll be treasured for years to come.


He was a natural in front of the camera — confident, relaxed, and genuinely fun to work with. The best senior sessions happen when the guy actually shows up and gives it his all, and this one delivered. No awkward poses, no stiff smiles — just real, genuine expressions that his family is going to love.


What's coming next for this senior

We're not done yet! This spring we have two more sessions planned — one to celebrate a very exciting college acceptance announcement (stay tuned for that one!), and a cap and gown session with his friends at Eagle Stadium in Allen. Group cap and gown sessions are so much fun, and I cannot wait to document this milestone alongside his closest people.

Senior year is full of moments worth preserving, and I feel so lucky to be a part of this journey with him.
