A little bit about me....

Hi, I'm Mary!! I’m a born and raised Texan, growing up in a small town before moving to Dallas then settling here in Allen, TX with my husband of 17 years. We have two kids, Jack is 12 and Kate is 10 years old. I’ve had several jobs in this thing called life. I have worked in insurance, owned/operated a pet sitting company, was a group fitness instructor, preschool teacher, and currently substitute teach for my local school district. But my biggest and most important job is being a mom to my babies (who seem to be growing up whether I like it or not). My dream is to take my family on the road, visit all of the national parks, and have adventures on the daily. I have many hobbies that I love, but photography is definitely at the top of the list. I got into photography after my family photographer (and dear friend) moved out of state. She encouraged me to try it out myself since she didn’t live close by anymore. I learned a ton from her! And the rest is history. My passion in photography is capturing the casual, unexpected moments of my clients. I try to make my sessions fun, silly, and creative. My goal is to capture memories, not just smiles.
