When I dreamed up the concept for this team shoot, I knew I wanted something big, bold, and completely glamorous. Dallas Glam was born — and it delivered in every single way. Two of my 2026 MHP Senior Model Team girls showed up in their prom dresses, we headed to the Arts District in Downtown Dallas, and the result was nothing short of stunning.
The concept — Dallas Glam
The idea was simple: take two gorgeous girls, put them in formal gowns, and drop them in the middle of one of the most architecturally striking areas in all of DFW. The Dallas Arts District surrounding the Winspear Opera House is an absolute dream for photography. Clean modern lines, dramatic architecture, sweeping concrete plazas, and that unmistakable big-city energy — it creates a high-fashion editorial feel that you just cannot replicate anywhere else in North Texas.
Prom dresses in downtown Dallas? Yes. A thousand times yes. These images look like they belong in a magazine, and I am so incredibly proud of how they turned out.
The Winspear Opera House — a backdrop like no other
If you have never photographed around the Winspear Opera House, you are missing out. The bold red exterior, the geometric canopy, the wide open reflecting spaces — it is dramatic and elegant all at once. Paired with two girls in formal gowns, the whole scene felt cinematic. We worked through several spots in the Arts District, and every single location gave us something different and equally stunning.
Downtown Dallas has so much photographic potential, and this shoot reminded me why I love venturing into the city. There is an energy here that you simply feel in the final images.
A note about these photos
Because prom is still coming up for these two, I am holding their individual photos close to the chest for now — I do not want to spoil the surprise before their big night! Once prom has come and gone, I will be sharing their full galleries on social media. Trust me, you are going to want to watch for those. They are absolutely breathtaking.
In the meantime, just know that these girls were absolute naturals. Elegant, confident, and completely radiant. I could not have asked for better models for a shoot like this.
