Plano West Senior Photographer | Aliyah’s Senior Photos at Flippen Park & Highland Park Village
Aliyah’s senior session was such a fun combination of classic and modern. As one of my Class of 2027 Senior Team models from Plano West High School, she chose two locations that gave us completely different looks for her senior photos: Flippen Park and Highland Park Village.
We started at Flippen Park, where Aliyah wore a beautiful white dress for photos around the fountain. The classic setting, neutral tones, and elegant architecture made the perfect backdrop for timeless senior portraits. The white dress added to that clean, classic look and photographed beautifully against the fountain.
From there, we headed to Highland Park Village for a completely different vibe. Aliyah changed into a soft yellow-gold two-piece that was absolutely perfect for the location. The warm gold tones throughout Highland Park Village paired so well with her outfit, making this part of her Plano West senior photography session feel a little more fashion-forward and editorial.
Senior Photos at Highland Park Village
Highland Park Village is one of those locations that can give a senior gallery so much variety. Between the architecture, storefronts, walkways, and warm neutral and gold tones, there are plenty of opportunities to create images that feel polished without looking overly posed.
Aliyah’s soft yellow-gold outfit was one of my favorite details of this part of her session. I always encourage my seniors to think about how their outfits will work with their chosen locations, and this one was a perfect example of that. The colors complemented the setting without blending into it.
Of Course, We Had to Get Some Sister Photos
Aliyah also brought her little sister along for part of her senior photo session, and we couldn't pass up the opportunity for some fun sister photos.
While the focus of the session was Aliyah, these photos added something really special to her gallery. Senior photos don't have to be exclusively solo portraits. Including siblings, parents, or other people who are important to you can make your gallery feel much more personal—and these sister photos were definitely worth making room for.
A Senior Session With Plenty of Variety
One of my favorite things about planning senior sessions is creating a gallery that doesn't look like the same photo repeated 50 times. Aliyah's session at Flippen Park and Highland Park Village gave us two completely different settings, two outfits, and plenty of opportunities for both classic portraits and more candid, natural moments.
From the white dress at the Flippen Park fountain to the soft yellow-gold two-piece at Highland Park Village, every part of the session came together beautifully.
If you're a Plano West senior planning your senior photos, this is exactly why I love helping my seniors plan their sessions from the beginning. We can choose locations, outfits, and a session plan that gives you variety while still making the entire experience feel relaxed and fun.
