The D Family - McKinney TX Family Photographer


Some sessions just feel effortless from the moment we start, and this beautiful family made my job way too easy. We met at Erwin Park on one of those golden fall evenings where the light filters perfectly through the trees and the leaves glow in shades of amber and gold. It was the ideal backdrop for a family who showed up ready to laugh, play, and just be themselves.


Mom and Dad were all smiles from the start, and their joy was absolutely contagious. Their daughter—full of curiosity, giggles, and the cutest expressions—kept everyone moving, and her parents followed along with total ease. They were so natural and candid with her, letting her lead, scooping her up, twirling her around, and laughing right alongside her. Those are the moments I love capturing most—the unplanned, unscripted bits of real family connection.


One of my favorite parts of photographing at Erwin Park is how the fall colors wrap everything in warmth, and this session was no exception. Every time the sun peeked through the trees, it highlighted their smiles and the playful energy between them. Whether she was upside down in Dad’s arms or snuggled into Mom’s side, their daughter lit up the entire evening.


This session was the perfect reminder that the best photos happen when families simply enjoy each other. And this trio did exactly that.


I’m so grateful I had the chance to document these moments for them—memories full of color, laughter, and so much love.
