G Family - Parker TX Family Photographer


I always look forward to photographing this sweet family each year. Watching their daughter grow from a tiny toddler into a confident first grader has been such a joy! Every session feels like catching up with old friends — full of laughter, play, and those in-between moments that make their photos so genuine.

This year, we tried something new! I’ve had my eye on Cottonwood Collective in Parker, TX for a while now, and it did not disappoint. It’s the perfect mix of cozy studio charm and natural outdoor beauty — and we made the most of every corner!


We started inside, where the indoor Christmas setup created the dreamiest holiday backdrop. Think twinkling lights, soft textures, and a warm, festive vibe that instantly put everyone in the holiday spirit. From there, we moved outside to the porch swing and surrounding trees, letting their daughter play and explore while I captured those candid, joy-filled moments that I love so much.


The outdoor area, with its rustic fence and natural light, added a timeless touch to their gallery. It’s one of those locations that works beautifully year-round, whether you’re looking for cozy winter vibes or sunlit family portraits.


I’m so glad we tried out Cottonwood Collective this year — it’s definitely earned a spot on my location list for future sessions!
