The E Family - Allen TX Family Photographer
Family sessions in the fall just hit differently — the colors, the texture, the light — and Allen Station Park delivered all of it this year. I met up with this sweet family at one of my favorite local spots, and between the changing leaves, the dam, and the old railroad backdrop, we had no shortage of gorgeous scenes to work with.
What made this session extra special for me is that I’ll be photographing senior portraits for their oldest daughter this spring. Senior year feels like such a big moment for everyone in the family, so getting them together before her individual session felt meaningful. And can we talk about how fun it is to photograph teens? These girls were relaxed, stylish, and happy to explore the space and let their personalities show. Their parents are clearly doing something right because these two made my job way too easy.
We wandered between the dam and the railroad, taking our time to mix posed portraits with candid movement. The warm tones in the leaves picked up beautifully against their neutrals and denim, and the textures around the bridge and tracks gave us those layered, editorial-style frames that always end up as client favorites.
I’m already excited for our senior shoot in the spring — new season, new location, and a chance to highlight her style and personality all on her own. It’s going to be good!
