W Senior Photos - Plano TX Senior Photographer
Some sessions go deeper than just photos—and this was one of those. I’ve had the honor of photographing each of the older brothers in this family as they reached their senior year, and this time it was brother number three’s turn. We originally planned something edgy and artistic, with a graffiti wall backdrop and a city vibe to match his laid-back style. But after weather delays and unexpected life changes, this session took on a new and deeply personal meaning.
During the time we rescheduled, this senior lost his best friend. When we reconnected, he told me he wanted to shift the direction of the session to honor his friend’s memory. So we changed locations and leaned into a more rustic, natural setting—open fields, soft evening light, worn-in cowboy boots. It was peaceful, honest, and full of quiet strength.
This session wasn’t about perfect poses or high energy. It was about connection. About telling a story that mattered. And about honoring someone who made an impact on his life. The result was a collection of images that reflect not only who he is today, but who he carries with him.
I’m incredibly grateful for the trust this family has given me through the years. And I already know I’ll be back out here again someday, camera in hand, for brother number four.
