Sam - AHS Senior - Oak Point Nature Preserve
Senior season is in full swing, and this session at Oak Point Nature Preserve in Plano, TX, was nothing short of magical! We were anxiously watching the weather all day, worried that we might have to reschedule. But sometimes, Mother Nature surprises you in the best way possible. The rain held off, the clouds cleared, and we were treated to the most epic golden-hour sunset. It was the perfect backdrop for a stunning senior session!
This gorgeous senior showed up in the most elegant white flowy dress that complemented the natural beauty of the preserve. She absolutely rocked her session, gracefully posing in the tall grass and delicate wildflowers, giving us all those effortlessly beautiful, editorial vibes. Her confidence and poise made every shot shine!
One of the things I love most about senior sessions is capturing a student’s personality and passions. For this soon-to-be graduate, that meant incorporating her graduation cap and gown, as well as some of her favorite books. As a self-proclaimed bookworm, she wanted to showcase her love for reading, and it was such a fun, personal touch! Stacking up her books and flipping through the pages made for some of the most unique and meaningful shots of the day.
She’s heading off to the University of Arkansas in the fall, and I have no doubt she’s going to do amazing things. Her excitement for this next chapter was contagious, and I loved getting to freeze this moment in time before she takes on the Razorback life!
Oak Point Nature Preserve always provides a gorgeous setting, but this session was extra special. Between the glowing sunset, the beautiful scenery, and her radiant energy, everything came together perfectly. I’m so honored to have captured this milestone for her!
