H Family - Richardson, TX Family Photographer - Pre-K Grad Photos
Few milestones are more heartwarming than preschool graduation—tiny caps and gowns, big dreams, and even bigger smiles. Now, combine that sweetness with cousins who adore each other, two beautiful mamas, and a wildflower field in full bloom… and you get one unforgettable photo session.
This recent shoot in the wildflowers of Richardson was extra special. These two cousins are not only finishing their Pre-K years and getting ready for big-kid school adventures—they’re also the best of friends. Their bond was so fun to capture: from giggles and goofy poses to sweet little hand-holds and proud smiles in their mini caps and gowns.
But this wasn’t just about the grads. Their mamas joined in for a Mommy & Me portion of the session, and those moments might have been my favorite. You could feel the love and pride in every frame—hugs, kisses, and cuddles surrounded by golden light and blooms. The kind of photos that you’ll look back on years from now and remember exactly how small they were, how tight they squeezed you, and how fast time flew.
Even with a little chaos (because hello—preschoolers), these two families made the session so joyful. The cousins fed off each other’s energy in the best way, and as the sun started to dip, the light softened, the crowd cleared out, and everyone just relaxed into the moment.
Pre-K graduation is such a sweet milestone. And adding in the bond of family, spring wildflowers, and a little mama love made this one for the books.
