Every year I look forward to cap and gown season, and this year did not disappoint. Eagle Stadium has a way of adding so much weight and meaning to these portraits — the scale of it, the tradition behind it, the way the light falls across the field. Four Best Friends Since Elementary School
One of my absolute favorite sessions from this round of shoots was a combo session with four boys who have been best friends since elementary school. Let that sink in for a second — these guys have been showing up for each other for years. Through every grade, every change, every season of life, they've stayed close. And now here they are, graduating together.
There is a comfort and ease between friends like that that you simply cannot fake in front of a camera. The laughter was real. The jokes were endless. The quiet in-between moments — where they just stood together without saying a word — said everything. Getting to document that kind of friendship at this milestone is exactly why I love what I do.
